The wonderful Wendy has been a dedicated educator at St Mary’s Preschool for over 10 years and is deeply respected within our community.
Diploma trained and supported with many years of experience, Wendy is a true hands-on educator and brings learning to life through meaningful, real-world experiences such as cooking, gardening, and messy play.
Each year, Wendy leads our much-loved paddock-to-plate projects, involving children in every step of the journey, from planting and watering vegetables, brewing worm tea and harvesting mulberries, to cooking her famous pancakes and zucchini slice. Wendy embodies the heart of ‘old school teaching’, children growing in harmony with nature.
